Cracks and Aging
Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 5:49 AM I have found something incredibly interesting in the last three months. Most of you know that I have been losing some weight since around April. In fact, I have lost over 17 pounds during that time. I walk on the treadmill, eat less, and only have a Dew a day (something about keeping the doctor away?).
What I have noticed is that when I go up the stairs of our home... me knees and ankles don't crack. I mean hardly ever. And before the loss of the excess 'bowling ball' on my body - I used to sound like the fourth of July as I went up the stairs. Each knee and ankle snapping and popping at every step. Early mornings were a killer cause I would wake everyone up.
Now, I get up between 5am & 6am - but I'm in stealth mode. I don't know about you, but I would have never thought losing a little weight would make such a difference on my body... not like that. No big - just interesting to me.
