    Idol Gives Worship???

Not sure if anyone else freaked out two weeks ago at the opening number of American Idol… “Shout To The Lord”??? Are you kidding me? Where in the WORLD did that come from? Don’t get me wrong, I was super excited. In fact, as it happened, I just sat there with my mouth literally wide open. I couldn’t shut it. I don’t know whether to be proud of AI or a bit miffed for exploiting a worship tune.

I suppose, whether it was meant for bad or good… for profit or purpose… if God be praised, that is enough. I think Jesus was most certainly lifted up before 20-30 million fans of AI! The real American Idol was sung about… and for some of us… He was sung to in those moments. WOO HOO!
