Good Times...
Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 12:46 PM What a tremendous blessing to be back at Kingsway Christian Church in Indianapolis, IN. Seeing such a great church, great leadership, great people... well, it just brought back so many wonderful times for me while serving there. I know that I taught a message on the danger of remembering the 'good ole days' - but still!
Sure, those 'good ole days' were filled with hiccups and stressors that I hardly remember. I know that. But I'm just relishing in the great memories of so many wonderful people.
Remember, your current circumstances, no matter how difficult they may be right now, may be some of the best 'good ole days' you'll ever experience. It might be hard to believe now. You might feel like the Israelites wedged between the angry Egyptians behind you and the Red Sea in front of you. Not cool, for sure!
But... get ready for the parting of the water. Be watching. God always shows up. You'll see! Thanks Kingsway, for a great 35th Anniversary Weekend celebration. It was AWESOME!
