Brain Damage

You know, there is nothing like starting a "day off" from work by locking your keys in your vehicle. You gotta love that.

I was sitting in the church parking lot waiting for my real estate client and friend to stop by to sign some papers. At the same time, I was talking to Ernie Cabrera, the owner of Real Estate America, about some specific item regarding the offer. In my truck, I previously had the heat on high. So when I stopped to park at the church... it was too warm inside.

So - I opened the door to cool off and the warning bell started 'dinging' because the keys were still in the ignition. So, I pulled them out about 3/4 of the way to stop the incessant 'dinging.' Mission accomplished. And I thought to myself, "I better be sure to grab those keys." But I didn't. Thus, the brain damage!

However, the good news is that I brought a TON of stuff to read and work on while I wait for my wonderful wife to bring the keys. Bad news, they are all still locked in the truck. So I've got that going for me. The actual good news is that it created some time for me to come in to the church office and blog about my moronic endeavors. So you've got that going for you.

Have a great weekend - and don't lock your keys in your vehicle.

Not to be the one upper here but..... Try having one set of keys and it breaks in the door leaving you with half a key and stranded. Oh did I mention no cell phone. Yeah, I understand the agony.

Oh and it doesn't help when there is a sleeping baby at home who takes an extra long nap so your wife can't leave :)

I was learning to drive I locked my keys in the car twice, not in the same day. I had to call grandma for the first and second called mom and got yelled at I desserved it because this was my second time not the first. It happends to the best of us I guess we can have brain dead or CRS moments at any age, because I am still having them at age 23.
