    Time Management

OK - so this is a bit weird to ask because of the potential varied responses that might occur - but I am genuinely interested in your thoughts.

Does anyone have a proven, tested and extremely beneficial TIME MANAGEMENT plan?

I am specifically talking about a unique and/or incredibly effective book or plan or system you use.

Going even further, if it's a system, is there a 'cheat sheet' available on that system?

Part of my struggle is just discipline... typically getting sidetracked or focusing on side projects instead of what I mainly need to tackle.

    Thanks for considering it!

Barry, the best tool I have found (when I apply it) is a book you gave me... Ordering Your Private World. The key seems to be maintaining our priorities and understanding the differences between "more urgent" and "more important." Sometimes we are forced to do things which are less important in order to accomplish things which are more immediately urgent at the time.

One thing that works for me when I am getting distracted with other things, is to keep a notebook or sheet of paper where I can write down details about the other projects or what I am thinking I need to do. That helps me to get it off of my mind while I am working on what has to get done, plus when I am finished I can go back to my paper and see what else needs to get done. I'm also a list person.
