    Reality

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one."
      -- Albert Einstein

Cute saying. Full of crap. Reality is no illusion. No tongue twister, new age movement, or 'hope' is going to change it. Reality is here... now... and it's in your face.

So whatcha gonna do about it?

You say, "Hey, relax. What's the big deal?"

    I say, "EVERYTHING!"

We absolutely MUST embrace reality... if we ever plan on changing it. We have no options but to look our existence right in the face and deal with it. You are here today. Your life is what it is now! You may WISH it was different. You may HOPE it changes. But it is... what it is.

So - if it needs to change... and you hope for something different... I'll ask you again, "Whatcha gonna do about it?"

Any HABITS need to be added or subtracted? Attitudes? Actions? Friends? Places? People? Jobs? Choices?

    Well...

    Sacramento Kings Games

WOW - I get to go to the Sacramento Kings game tonight. I figured that I probably wouldn't be able to get to any games this season due to some financial readjustments.

But out of the first five home games, I have had the opportunity to attend two of them - the home opener and tonight's game. HOW? Because of awesome and generous friends. Last Sunday, a man came up after church and put something in my front shirt pocket and walked away. I finished my conversation with someone else and then pulled out the two 'lower level' tickets and chased the guy outside to thank him.

What a blessing for me... especially when they win. Tonight the Phoenix Suns come to town. I'm not EXPECTING a win - but am very HOPEFUL for one! It'll be a great time either way!

    GO KINGS!
